While the primary emphasis of the institution is on excellent teaching, the university supports and encourages scholarly activity to ensure the intellectual vitality of the faculty. While much of the work has had professional application, Psychotic State particularly invites scholarship that directly relates to the classroom experience and involves students in the research process.
